Bring Stranger in the Woods to Life in Your School!

What's it like to write a book?

Kindergartners through fifth graders will have a chance to explore the creative process with the help of Laura and Robert Sams playing piano and guitar.

This lively presentation will get everyone involved! Your group of up to 125 students will sing, dance, help edit photographs and find out some of the things that happened while Stranger in the Woods was being created.

The students will also learn fascinating things about wildlife and nature as they watch videos of animals including some of the wildlife "stars" from Jean and Carl's book.

Presentations are approximately 50 minutes.

Laura and Robert Sams are a talented brother and sister creative team as well as the cousins of Carl R. Sams.

When they first read Stranger in the Woods, they were inspired to bring it to life. Academically trained as videographers and zoologists, they wrote, directed and edited Stranger in the Woods - The Movie, and also created most of the songs for Stranger in the Woods - The Soundtrack.
